To be eligible to perform songs, guests of the establishment must make a minimum order for a certain amount. The amount of the deposit may vary depending on the status of the institution, the number of seats, the day of the week and the location of the table in the hall, etc.
This is usually the case for establishments where karaoke is not a key component. There are clubs in which karaoke works free of charge until the set time, and then one of the above payment schemes comes into force.
Hourly pay applies mainly to karaoke rooms. Karaoke rooms are often booked in advance at a specific time for family or corporate events. Karaoke rooms can also be ordered during the evening when the common hall is heavily loaded.
A karaoke mobile (or “karaoke club on wheels”) is a minibus equipped with professional karaoke equipment. This is a fairly new, but already very popular option.
